The ATW Met League is (arguably) the best cross country league in the country
It has just been announced that this year there will be a prize fund for the leading athletes
Are you running in the league this year and what do you think of the new prize structure?
Comments
I reckon the prize structure will be pretty irelevanet to 95% of the runners, but that's a amazing anonymous donation!
If only 5% of runners are gunning for the prize fund then that could have an interesting impact on the team positions at the end of the season
There are some interviews with some of the member clubs here:

Anyone else running the fixture at Ally Pally tomorrow? I'm looking forward to a brawl in the mud, but apart from that, I have no idea what to expect. It's my first XC race and my running group has only just become EA affiliated so it's their first, too.
I thinks that its sad to have a prize fund.surely these events are about running for your club.........
