I know onesies are popular at the moment, but they just look like over-sized babygrows. They look horrible. Does anyone here actually own one, and if you do, what is the appeal?

if someone wears them at home to lounge/sleep in ok. but wtf is with people wearing them in clubs? no excuse.
Are they more or less offensive than tri all-in-ones?
What people wear in their own home is up to them but I am with marc s - wearing onsies outside is even worse than those sad twats who wear their pyjamas to the local shop. I mean how long does it take to at least put something over the top

Some people look VERY good in tri one pieces
I know people who wear them after open water swimming. They are easy to get on, warm and don't allow drafts down the back like other clothes can.
These people always put other clothes on over the top, so nobody would know they are wearing them. And OW swimmers always dress a bit strangly anyway.
I saw a group of people walking around the city centre in onesies the other day.

It would appear that 'Onesie' is a registered trademark for an infant bodysuit. So are adults that wear 'Onesies' exhibiting paraphilic infantilism?

l think lasses look dead cute in them when worn indoors. Any girl wearing them outside just looks like a tramp.
What about collecting the milk from the doorstep ? When does the cute/tramp changeover occur ?
I have a bright red fleece one for cosy winter nights indoors curling up in front of the fire with a good book and a hot drink, had it about 10 years, but I would never wear it outside the house, not even in the garden, nor if there's visitors in the house. Nor would I answer the door wearing it. It's for my own private comfy enjoyment after a hot shower on a cold winter's night. My business what I wear in the privacy of my own home, not yours.
I would hesitate to call someone a tramp because of what they wear, but they don't look good

I wouldn't wear one myself.
I saw a girl in one in Tesco, and thought she was wearing her pyjamas. Then I saw a girl who WAS wearing her pyjamas, and a dressing gown. This seems to have gone from being something people too lazy to put some clothes on did, to something teenagers do for a dare.
The other thing about onsies - surely going to the loo becomes a little more complicated (and colder)?
