Just no "go"

Ran a 10k today and for the first 6 I just seemed to have no go at all. After that, I seemed to "click" and just kept gatting stronger.
Any Ideas??

Did you warm up beforehand? If you didn't, the first 3 miles or so could have felt harder due to not being warmed up.
Know the feeling though, I always find the beginning harder than the end, no matter what the distance (OK apart from marathons!)
