my postman told me off at the weekend.
Our cul-de-sac now clear of snow (and ice) so he had to park at the top of the road - "my winter tyres are rubbish on these clear roads"

I can see why post might not be delivered - our steps up to the house were absolutely lethal yesterday - it shamed me into chipping all the ice of them - and some of the pavements today were very treacherous - walking the kids to school is one thing but I think being expected to deliver letters for hours on end on that would be unfair.
I'm all for banning snowballs since Monday when some teenagers nearly had my car windscreen through with one.
I got the cane in junior school for throwing snowballs
It was one of those, "Should have gone to Specsavers" moments 'cos I was innocent.... honest! The f***ers could not catch me doing the stuff I did get up to; so they caned me for stuff that I did not do
