I am training for my third London Marathon. I am not fast and my first two times were 5:16 and 5:02. I have run quite a few half marathons with a PB of 1:56. I am desperate to get under 5 hours as at 54 i am not getting any younger. I am told that interval training will help my times but i am unsure how to approach the training. Any advice please

Intervals are good - but you'd probably be better focussing on endurance.
How many 20+ mile runs do you do ? You need to be really comfortable with the distances.
