Hi - Bascially I've got very wide feet (4E) and a narrow heel.
I need a neutral road shoe and because i have a stress reaction in my navicular, I think its best to go with a padded shoe rather than minimalist.
I am trying desperatly to find a shoe that caters for my wide feet but narrow heel so any suggestions are welcome!
I have tried a billion in different shops and bought then returned the brooks Glycerin, Saucony Triumph, nike pegasus and new balance 1080. The first three were still too narrow (such a shame as the nike and brooks were sooo lightweight and padded) and the new balance was wierdly wide all over so my heel and my mid foot would slip about.
I sound like im the fussiest runner My right ankle bruises up and swells from the stressed navicular if in the wrong shoe and ive got major callouses from too narrow shoes so really need the right fit. heeelp

I've got brooks defyance and while the more recent ones are a bit narrow at the front for me (also have wide feet), I found the older model (3) is much roomier.
