Morning
Todays lyrics:Well we know where we're going
Yesterdays lyrics: New York,by Frank Sinatra.
What;4M Steady
Why: Oh a long standing habit.
Thanks for the best wishes. It was weird travelling to/from work yesterday. I've worked in Glasgow City Centre for nearly 19 years. But time to move on.
Catch up time.

Morning.
You didn't treat yourself to a lie in then birks?
Thanks for the thoughts about the 10k.
Alehouse - I plan to do my last LSR (20 miles or so) on the 1st April. My peak flow is still not where it should be - but good enough for now.
Hope today is better emzap.
What: easy run
Why: being nice hasn't worked - time to beat the legs into submission
Last hard: taking so long to recover
Last rest: 15/3
Lyrics - yes.
Morning all,
Birks - does the coffee taste nicer this morning?
LmH - I can't see much harm racing a 10k two weeks out, enjoy todays run
what - either 5 easy or nothing
why - missed the club session as expected so did a steady run from home, not fancying speedwork. 9.1 miles in horrible rain including one spell with massive hail stones. Lovely.
Woke up this morning and really stiff hamstring/glutes (or 'bum' for a more accurate location!)
So will proceed with caution
last rest - saturday
last hard - this mornings stretches!
lyric - sure do
Morning again
LMH:My body clock wakened at the same time as usual.
Dustin: Oh Yes the coffee was very nice, two mugs in fact.
morning all
lyrics yes
dustin agree about coffee, I had a cup sitting on my desk as I finished my 9 miler this morning, I cannot describe how amazing it tasted!
what: 9 miles in1.26.51 - meant to be 94 but I just cant somehow!
WHY: SCHEDULE
lasthard: that was attimes
last easy: yesterday
weight down another half pound! I had so many excesses at the weekend I cannot believe it, I am now under 10 st and in the old 9st area which is new! High 9st of course...
But 9 st all the same, wabo! That's excellent
That made me laugh, OH
Hope the peakflow improves for those affected. I haven't used my inhaler at all since Denmark - the sea air does wonders. However, a few more days running in the cold will probably undo all the good stuff in no time
what: 13 miles
why: 1st MLR of the week (15 to do on Friday ... knackered, I think I want to taper now )
last hard: avoiding the icy bits
last rest: Saturday
lyrics: we had those recently, didn't we? Fave song of mine though. I shall be humming that for the rest of the day
Woke up to a couple of inches of snow on the ground this morning (not expected). Slushy snow has continued all morning.
What: not a lot
Why: working then practice meeting this evening
last hard: 14th
last rest: yesterday
lyrics: as usual not a scoobie
Will try a run again tomorrow ...
Afternoon all.
What: probably nothing
Why: it's snowing again and I really can't risk falling 1.5 weeks from race day.
Last hard: being sensible and not going out.
Lyrics: 2 days in a row
LMH enjoy the run
Birks hope you're hvaing a good day
Dustin be careful
Wabo wow, congratulations!
Work done for today, so going to hibernate. Maybe I'll feel super awake after work tomorrow and the forced rest day today will be worth it?
Have a good one all.
With 3k swum,
There's 3 mile run.
Later for a spin,
If I can still fit it in.
Mojo in town today,
Hope he's coming this way!
Young cow near the gate,
Close it now it's not too late!!
LOL Paddy.
7 miles run. Hardly easy, back and legs are still sore, but slow and low enough HR to count as such. Hope the legs are better tomorrow.
Evening!
Don't take up writing poetry, Paddy!
What: walk, stretch, gentle run to test the legs...only about a k running, but being cautious
Why: not rushing to get back. Hopefully longer run tomorrow. Young cow injury avoidance.
Ale - that's a work of art ya cheeky ""%^**&&""
Paddy, Alehouse wouldn't recognise a Picasso if one drove over his feet.
Lyrics yes, training no. Computer may soon get the optional accessory of ice axe through screen. Who mentioned the word "upgrade"?
