Hi Guys/Gals
VLM 2013 will be my first marathon so I'm in need of a little training help with regards to the taper. Training has been going well. Ran the East Hull 20 the Sunday before last, but only managed a 13miler on Saturday because of the snow, when I was planning a 21+. Is it too near the day for me to squeeze in last weeks 21+ this weekend or should I be reducing my long runs now regardless. My week days so far have consisted of two easy runs and two tempo/fartlek sessions.
Oh and whilst I think, I'm hoping for a sub 4.
Any advice greatly received.
Thanks

My plan has a 20 3 weeks out, 13 2 weeks out and an 8/10 the weekend before, so maybe do a 20?
20 shoudl be fine this weekend, gives you 3 weeks to freshen up for race day.

Always found this one quite a good summary.
I generally do 22+ with 3 weeks to go, then 15, then 8 the week before - this weekend is perhaps your most important training run of all.
no pressure then.
