I'd like to dip my toe in the Tri waters.
We've got a few reasonably local ones. i won't be fit enough for the innaugral Rhyl event but possibly the Llandudno or Eirias
I need to get some clothing, tri suit, wet suit etc and would like to do it the old fashioned way i.e. visiting a shop to try it on.
Can anyone recommend any stores in the North West (I'm in north wales) where they have everything under one roof?

There is Tri-active in Chester, I buy running stuff in there, the rest of it is a mystery to me, but it's very friendly, and they knock huge amounts of money off if you just ask them to.

Cheers Mr Puffy & Dave.
i got my running shoes there but couldn't remember if I'd seen any wetsuits?
Do they sell cycle shoes? I've ordered a bike through cycle scheme but don't know what pedals / shoes to go for.
I've been reading the other newbie thread on this I think I'll just end up buying the nice colours ones
Well if you are after bike bits. Alf Jones outside Wrexham or Eureka Cycles outside Chester... And Graham does cycle shoes at TriActive
you missed some bargains at the Chirk Tri yesterday a TriActive and someone else were there with stalls
Eureka cycles also do wetsuits and swim gear
Might be a bit too far north for you, but there's The Endurance Store in Wigan. Very friendly and helpful folk in there.

I know the owner of Eureka and can vouch for plenty of choice and good service.
