Anyone still planning to run this on the 5th? I bailed out but reckon I'm still gunna do it now, does anyone know how many are expected to run or if there's been a big drop out?
Muttley, I had already paid for both, and much as I love this race I've done it twice before, and I haven't run the Sarcen Trail/Neolithic Marathon. Plus, it's a marathon. I'll be back next year though (River Thames permitting!)
At least Purple Patch/Water of Life will have my entry fee, so I'll have done my charidee bit
Hope you had a good outing Muttley (and anyone else) - I did the Sarsen Trail Neolithic Marathon, from Avebury to Stonehenge, which was long (allegedly) and gruelling to say the least. 11 minutes slower for me than South Downs last year and my first mara outside 4 hours!

Unfortunately I'm down to do a marathon that day - Avebury to Stonehenge (or the Sarcen Trail). Not that I've done any training!
The fact that a) I've paid for it and b) Purple Patch have done so much to keep the show on the road makes me doubly determined to do it
They could have cancelled due to force majeure.
So I'll be there on the day even if it's only me!

All set for tomorrow and the weather forecast looks good.
