I quite like it Millsy. At least he did it on the right hand side away from the real leaders. Just shows that even a good marathoner has to sprint, just to run at their pace.
It really does. As a 2.44 marathoner at his best I'm sure he has respect for those guys and thought through the impact he had on the race(none) I wonder what his next challenge is?
It did remind me that there was a bloke on green start with a headcam. He's put his footage on youtube. If you ever fancy watching the entire London Marathon.
I couldn''t imagine being that bored Cougie. Even the official coverage is a bit boring when it's just a bunch of Afriacans led by a British African for half of the way. Wasn't the most thrilling race was it? We need some diversity and someone to take sides with. Not the Africans fault, although the British African should not have been there at all.

Doing it to one side was the way to go. A mate of mine tried it a few years ago (also a 2:4X marathoner). He was full pelt but the pacemakers wouldn't let him past, they just went a bit faster still and he never actually got to the front.
Dave was in the championship area before the start - he'd paced someone at a marathon the week before and 'just' needed a GFA time for London - I think he did 3:03 or something after that start.
Ha ha, cheers guys, had my fourth challenge last weekend to top ten in the worlds biggest assault course, just Sierra Leone marathon left next weekend, legs are fairly trashed though. Full details on my blog:

Of course I mean who is that man? Fuck just turned my spellcheck back on. Embarassing!
Imagiantion??
My missus used to work with him years ago. Is that the worlds worst claim to fame?
That made me feel sea-sick

Me too! Very bouncy.
Good on him though, great performance. And I'm glad that he still has his GFA even with the rule change.

Hi David. I think we have mutual friends.
oh great, who's that?
Haha great work David! Really does show the pace those guys run at!
That is awesome.
but he wasn't following the blue line
Great. We've all thought we'd love to do EXACTLY that... but this guy's actually done it!
