I'd tap Mellifera up on this one, I'm sure she could provide some banging ideas.

Ferret, I'm surprised at you!!!
Anyway, my favourite turbo song for when the resistance is at max and the gears are as lumpy as I can get them is Ian Dury's "Fucking Ada". 6 minutes and makes me smile every time. I'll try it up Barhatch sometime though I reckon it's be good for the Kirkstone pass as well
This thread makes me feel like a dinosaur, wish I'd never started reading it. I'd be embarrassed to admit how many of those songs/artists I've actually heard of.
Oh well, if you want something hard and fast can i suggest bo ningen or the jim jones review or savages, something more gentle yet still keeping you going would be anything by purson and a warm down to pete and the pirates.

Engineer - I've just listened to it and it's a load of sh1te.....I hope they dont release anymore......see if you can trump that
When putting together a spin class you should choose a mix of music that is appropriate to the training aim of that track.
you need to remember in spinning the music is your road and those taking the class need to ride the music
have you been taking drugs Will??
Doors - Riders on the Storm, then?
Kraftwerk - tour de france *boom tish*
thanks guys - i'll fire up spotify.......
climbing songs seam reasonably easy, but I am having issues with tempo and slow/fast stuff for sprints
Will - exactly - the music has to have such a good beat that it sweeps the class along and they have no option but to ride at the right RPM......
keep them coming
Big tough man by Adam Ant
Enter Sandman by Metallica
Welcome to the Jungle by GnR
Though I find that when it's balls to the wall (or turbo) I can't listen to anything as it takes all the energy not to puke.
That is when I need it most. Delirium is at the end of my 30 minute test playlist, and by the time I get there, it is LOUD..
Bloody quotes, no idea how it works!
bit like life eh??
Touche!
