LSD is normally LSR which means long slow run. Focus on distance and focus on doing it slowly.. Can't remember what LSD actually stands for (though I read it in a book only on Monday!) Something like Long Slow Duration run... but it definitely means long slow run (about 100-130s per mile slower than your HMP
Can anyone help me please, I am doing a half marathon in October, although I thought my training was going really well for a novice (only running since April) I have hit a 4 mile block, I get to the 4 and I feel I can't run anymore... my previous runs are between 3 and 11 miles and never had this problem before any comments would be greatly welcomed

What does HMP stand for? And LSD?
HMP = half marathon pace

Half marathon pace
Long slow distance
Seems there are two paces in this beginner's schedule - the pace you hope to run your half marathon at, and a slower pace for tackling longer runs.
Good luck
Long slow distance.. of course!
When I read it, I thought it didn't really make sense. When we speak, we'd never put the adjectives in that order!
