Article 25 are a small registered UK charity who design, build and manage projects to provide shelter in disaster areas, and to those living in poverty. We have worked on over 60 projects with partner NGOs in 22 countries. Our projects include:
We are currently looking for fundraisers to take part in Run to the Beat to raise money for Article 25! Run to the Beat powered by Nike+ is London’s biggest and most unique half marathon. Taking place on the 8th September 2013, over 19,000 runners will be making their way around the iconic 13.1 mile course starting and finishing in the stunning new location of Greenwich Park.
As ‘London’s Music Half Marathon’ Run to the Beat prides itself on giving you more than just a running event. With top DJs pumping out motivational tunes as you eat up the miles and a euphoric set from the headline act to look forward to at the finish line, the atmosphere on the day will be like nothing you have ever experienced at a running event before.
The cost to sign up to the event is £30 and we ask that participants raise a minimum of £250 to make the event financially viable for ourselves. Once signed up you will recieve an Article 25 t-shirt and also a Nike Dri fit running shirt! This fantastic event is now full so the only way to sign up is through a charity, such as ourselves.
Have a look on our website for more information http://www.article-25.org/involved/article-25-events/run-to-the-beat-powered-by-nike and email bridie-lavender@article-25.org with any other questions and to sign up!

"Unique" is an absolute. A race can't be "the most unique", things are either unique, or they aren't.
God love you Wilkie!!
Looks like one of those charities that will spend 249 out of your 250 quid on t-shirts and paying themselves. Unfortunately that won't make them unique. Will be hardly any money left to train Ugandan child soldiers properly.
Out of the dozen people I know that have done this race before, precisely zero have anything good to say about it.
Sounds like a good idea really terribly implemented.
You'd do well to try and get people to work with you on a different race, confusingly-named OP.
