Ok so lycra does not make you sweat and breaths well but I do like a right turnip a 43 year old bloke with a kabab addiction in tight lycra I know my limits
So like back in the old days I wear a shell suit with a light hooded top underneath .I feel comfortable and the extra clothing does help with weight control (Billy boy Stocker boxing coach said it does) !!!
I have always trained like this even when I looked like Peter Andrea in the 90 s !!!!!!
Darren my next door neighbour calls me Rocky Its the only kudos I have had for a long time in sport so Im sticking with it

Er, well done? I am not sure how we are supposed to respond - there was no question and nothing obviously inviting comment. If you like wearing all of that, then carry on. Go Rocky?!
There's a risk of heatstroke if you run with too much on, that happened to Martin Lawrence. You do lose weight from sweating but it's just water which you'll then replace, so there's no point.
Rocky, those extra layers will help you to lose some weight before the weigh in for your fight. Good luck with that. Dehydrating yourself isn't going to help your running performance though.
I like Milly's suggestion of some shorts and a t-shirt - now that really is old school, and one I recommend.
