Lightly-used trainers

Does anyone know of a charity that collects used trainers? Not the ones I was going to bin, obviously, but the ones that have lost their bounce and won't do for Marathon training. I found one website, but I can't afford to post them abroad, so am looking for a collection point in the UK. Can anyone help?

I get bags for charity clothing donations through my door all the time (at least one per week), most of them take shoes.
Other option would be to walk into a charity shop with them and donate that way. Think you can get Gift Aid if you do it that way.
Or ebay them with the intention of donating the proceeds to charity... and then when you see cold hard cash in your hand, you can change your mind about giving it all away.
Thanks guys - I think the "walk into a charity shop with them " will do! Can't imagine anyone buying them, but hey, its tough out there!
