Hi!
I'm looking for good quality photos of running medals, bibs, etc.
I need to populate this website database: http://runningcv.co.uk/
The objective is to create a database and a repository of running races and their souvenirs.
If you can help please send your photos to developer@runningcv.co.uk
Thanks and regards.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to use this site to be honest but if you want it to look professional you need to improve your copy.
Begginnng = Beginning
Tryed = Tried
i = I
In my disposal = at my disposal
Hiperlink = hyperlink
Further advice comes with a fee
Thanks for your feedback,
What kind of fee?
Oh I think there are enough bling tarts out there who'll want to see what you get where.
Lets face it, most of us hate the cheap and tacky medals that we often get and would rather not have and often really like that special bling.
It's a hobby, we pay for it so why not have some quality bling.
PS - don't ask Screamy about her fees, you really don't want to know the answer but it will involve blood at some point.
Lordy! What a bizarre idea.
Do people really choose races based on what the medal looks like?
Large.
True.
In a word (or 3 actually) ... Giants Head Marathon .... a medal to die for (and a course that will probably see that you do!)
I often choose races based on the bling
Case in point: Longleat 10K - it'll be a 400 mile round trip for a medal shaped like a lion's head, and a trip around the park
If I were travelling 200 miles to a race, spending ££££ on petrol (and an overnight stay, quite probably) it wouldn't be because it has a nice medal!
The OP should also remember that races change - the medal could be different next year. How is he going to ensure he keeps up to date?
I thought of that too Wilkie.
I'm wondering, does the website have worth has some sort of "social document"? I'm not sure to be honest.
yes the races ofetn change their momento so i would say its a pretty pointless list
Oh, and in Britain only babies have bibs.
Runners have numbers
As far as ideas go there have certainly been worse; however, as for the implementation... If you can't look at it yourself and see why it's so bad then I'd suggest you either hire someone who knows what they are doing or give up.
I've done this event the last couple of years and I'd say that the medal is definitely worth the 400 mile round trip
Pictures of a few here....
And here
you could do with a search button on the website so people can easily find the bling rather than trawling through every picture
I know few runners who limit themselves to races that have medals.
They'd probably be all over this site
has only one of the staff been running for more than about 6months?!
