But seriously, it's going downhill fast. I get the impression the forum is pretty much at the bottom of RW's list o fpriorities. Pity. It used to be really good.

Interesting to know whattheir priorities are, the magazine surely isn't one of them either as it's constantly boring.
To be fair I stopped buying RW in the early 90s - probably after it stopped being Running Magazine to be honest. I still come on here but many of the characters have gone - Hoose, Coops etc
My whinge wasn't about the forum being boring or some of the higher-profile types going, or about what's in the mag or not. It was about how the forum seems to fall over regularly these days and every time takes longer to revive. Just seems to me that RW Towers' attention and priorities lie somewhere other than this place. Which seems a shame.
I've noticed also that at least a couple of local events that I like to do are no longer listed on RW. The Events section is fab but if race organizers start drifting away from it to somewhere else, that does spell trouble for this place.
Agree that the forum is in need of serious CPR to keep it going and can understand your sentiments I must have been on here roughly the same amount of time aand whereas I would enjoy a daily visit and could stay for an hour or so as whilst some threads were barking mad ie Kef. Some where worth the time and effort and seemed to engage a wide range of views and healthy debate.
But the thread has lost a lot of its mojo no doubt due to a few of the die hards going elsewhere also who wants to read about fake bags, trainers, passports every sunday morning.
Currently its holding on but how long before it asks to travel to a Swiss clinic I'm not sure !!!

At least I can get into this thread

I can hardly see anything on here now so am ready to jump ship.
we had a few days like this anumber of years ago,..........but it all got sorted in the end,................
give it another 24 hours and everything will be as right as rain..meantime go exploring
Or go out for a run, crazy as that sounds!
Go for a run Pudge? That's outrageous!
Agree that the forums don't hold the attraction they once did.
I think when you spend a lot of time somewhere it does tend to get very monotonous - maybe just take a break for a while?
(and go out and run )
Get a new hobby. Try gardening, scouting, morris dancing or having babies, and find an appropriate new forum.
Is that because I'm back now, Muttly?
it was crap before then - in some ways Karen gave some life, albeit weird life, back to it....
just dull these days
I've laughed louder at the Karen threads than any others and that just shows how bad it has become in here.
I'd like you to stay Mut. There is room for all personality types in here

Bring back DF3.......
Sums it up perfectly.... nudge, nudge, wink, wink...
Jindalee - it was my attempt at humour !!

Hoose is still about but goes under a different name now, I believe.
