I think we need another couple of bank holidays at least.
I think I'm looking at around 204, but it's trick as I work for myself so take time off when I need to, I go away racing at least one weekend a month and as I have to travel to uk or Europe it's always a Friday and Monday off and then the normal holidays and odd day off here and there

Are we talking paid employment or the days we actually put in some effort to get something done?
I don't work as in paid employment, however I do try and do something everyday, you could call that leisure pursuits but digging the garden over, weeding, building brick walls etc is hard work.
It's not unusual for me to work 6 or 7 days a week. Last year I did 268 days. My annual leave was 5weeks, and I had some of the bank holidays off.

That's the work I get paid for. My day off and weekends are spent running around after 2 kids and a husband.
I go to work for a rest.
On my annual tax return I always claim 230 days driving my car to work. But on this year's one I did deduct the 40 sick days I had off after my surgery!
