Though I was going to have to leave it next year and aim for the future. Then watched the live feed on Sunday and really wanted to be there. Thought about it more and don't want to risk missing the current venue if it does change in the future. So I've applied for a Macmillan place for next year to raise some cash whilst I suffer!
After getting clearance from the wife and thinking long and hard on whether to do this or hold out and see what happens regarding Challenge Henley 2014; which is just down the road, I finally went this way and registered.
Already excited, and there's still nearly 12 months to go!
Changed the gearing on my road bike this week, now on a 11 - 30 , time to get some hill training in over the winter, also going to remove the clip on bars I think. Going to see how this feels before I decide in the spring wether to do the same to the TT bike and use that for Wales, or stick to the road bike. What others thoughts TT bike or Road bike? Gearing ratios anyone?
