Recently I get an usual problem when I run.... On my left foot, I get a cut in between my smallest toe and the fourth (ring) toe. My smallest toe is not straight and sits at an angle touching the forth toe. So they probably are rubbing against each other and maybe broken skin is there not healing. Does anyone have any experience of this and know of any way to stop it from happening? Thanks.

Grendel, I have sufffered from it in the past, so it could be caused by that.
I have had it when I've let my toenails get a bit long, a bit of zinc oxide tape around the little toe normally does the trick.
