Morning all. Our day has started with water coming in through the velux window, Blouse being up a ladder in the kitchen and me proffering tea and "helpful" suggestions. One of those was welcome.
The shower pump is broken and I need a shower, luckily Mr Steady has gone to the store to get a new one and reckons he can fix it. Fingers crossed as we are due out to dinner with friends tonight.
Ello all - back from our holidays (pity ) - we had a lovely time - MrGFB's race was a bit of a disaster - he woke up on race morning with that tummy bug the grandkids had last week...he didn't know it at the time - just thought it was a "nervous" tummy so decided to try and race anyway...swim ok, bike slow but not too bad...then he starting vomitting on the run...I found him ages later in the medics tent (why do they take those emergency numbers of racers if they don't use them!!) He'd been ambulanced off the course! Ah well! (We know it was the bug cos LMF got it the next day and was sick for 36 hours.
He came round in about the same time and we had a lovely time - I wasn't sick
I'm home and cats due asap. Everything back to normal apart from it being rather cold. Don't know about turning the heating on just yet, I don't want to get all soft. I'm also rather tight fisted and don't like paying bills.
Glad that you could enjoy your holidays GFB even though the race didn't go quite to plan.
I have been to the dentist. It wasn't safe. I had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic, involving palpitations, a very foggy brain and hearing things as though I was under water. Plus it didn't even work, and I needed more drugs. Humbug
I should have gone to bed hours ago. All the cats have retired for the night and I am very tired. Very very tired. Must learn where the brain off switch is.
See and I'm thinking, 'what's the weather going to do tomorrow?'
The weather will probably be better tomorrow than it was here at the weekend. Think of it that way. I got out running again this evening. Thought the rain had finally called it a day after tree days but it just had to have another go.
Just seen the forecast and apparently the weather will be bland today, bordering on mundane, but not soggy.
Gawd Bookie that sounds a nightmare, hope you're not still in pain.
I've decided I'm not playing today, the world can go and boil its head as it extracted at least two days' worth yesterday. Ya boo sucks to the lot of them

Sounds like your flashings
Afternoon!
I have been squatting
That's how I hurt my back.
Toilet broken, Bookie?
I have picked apples in the rain.
The shower pump is broken and I need a shower, luckily Mr Steady has gone to the store to get a new one and reckons he can fix it. Fingers crossed as we are due out to dinner with friends tonight.
I have been trained. In what I am not entirely sure, but it took all day.
Job app done
I hate training like that Madbee. Talking of which, if I get that job I hope I don't have to undergo the two day induction again
I've run and got wet. I'm now very sore and tired. I want a shower but its too far to walk up the stairs
Goodnight mundanies (())
*waves*
I know I've been AWOL again - but probably going to be around a bit more now, especially at odd times.
(((Frodo)))
G'morning all - I had some nice cheese cobs during the weekend.
Morning all
Odd times rock Frodo, welcome to the wee small hours club, although I hope yours is just a temporary stay.
Tea's ready.
Morning everyone, Morning Frodo

Oh no ((((((((GFB's)))))))))) Hope he's ok
Frodo excellent to see you there should be something in the post for you soon as soon as I remember what your address is.
In mundane news this morning I managed to wake up late and been a bit more dopey than normal today.
I'm home and cats due asap. Everything back to normal apart from it being rather cold. Don't know about turning the heating on just yet, I don't want to get all soft. I'm also rather tight fisted and don't like paying bills.

Think Cake's been steeling all the sleep.
I hurt and I have a headache that is threatning to turn into a migraine.
((())) to all in need.
My bins are back in safe and sound.
Adds warming hugs to the pile. ((()))
My boots arrived today. Not bad seeing as I only ordered them on Friday.
No mrs P., that word is heroes, not herpes. Put your glasses on if you want to play the only connect wall.
Bwahahahaha!!!! Excellent

*lays down in the corner*
Good grief Bookie! I hope you feel better very soon.
I am still here, I am having computer issues.
Hope you're ok Bookie.
Welcome to the midnight feeds world Frodo!
Very gently (()) Bookie...
when Rob was born we became addicted to the local radio phone-ins, it was awful.

Do you have a fire you can light Mousey? We have avoided using heating so far, but wouldn't have done without the log burner.
Hi Frodo *waves*
Sorry to hear of Mr GFB's bad luck - there will always be another race, and at least you had a nice holiday
In mundane news, I burnt some bacon last night and the kitchen still smells a bit smoky. I secretly quite like it.
Oops, I have just replied to the page before.
That sounds pretty horrific Bookie, hope you are now mending.
Hash, I had a day like that yesterday too, have some world's head-boiling hugs.
Thanks for the weather forecasts. It is rather windy here, but I can't work out if the thundering sound is wind or rain on the roof...
