What is the sizing like on the stuff from the spreadshirt website? I am a size 14 normal clothes - would M be about right?

I'm a size 10 to 12 and I can wear a small, but I find it a little tight around my lower arms & wrists (I have big bone structure). I have a M as well which is a little loose on me, but if I want I can get a couple of layers on underneath it quite comfortable. My brother who is 4" taller & about 3 stone heavier than me can comfortably wear the M as well!
