Just in case you have a gap in your diary ....
I am organising a few pitches at a 'secret' destination for the Tour de F
We have found a camp site run by a cyclist somewhere near Harrogate (I believe) and he will also have big screens set up
The site is likely about 15/20 miles from each start and the intention is to cycle out to one of the high spots each day and then return. I have ensured there is a damn good pub down the road which does food and of course ale
Obviously campsites are going to be rammed around this time and he is taking bookings early in the New Year
If you would like to nominate yourself with a large tent and how many people you could take then once he can take our booking then I can book the pitch
The intention is to stay Friday night and Saturday night and return home on the Sunday to go to London for the TT on the Monday
Start a list ....

Sadly Sprog 3 lives in Leeds and is having to put the folks up !
Thanks Meldy but I'm only 20 miles from the top of Holme Moss so planning an early morning start to get up there before the road closes
You can save us a place then Stanners
No one says you have to race up it Dave
I'll probably still be in France! Nice idea though!!
Which way do they go up HM Stanners?
They limb Holme Moss from Holmfirth side and then drop down and head back towards Pennistone I think.
If you fancy it SA I'll be going from Whaley Bridge, up through Glossop and climbing to the transmission station so I can catch the end of the pelaton's climb
I'll take the beers
Will have a tent that fits up to 4 (probably)
4 beers or 4 people?
In case an use I live just near this pub and the tour will go past it. Nice food there.
Where stannner's is saying will probably be a better point to watch some hero's but if anyone needs it as always got some spare beds. Was talking some of you into a bike ride on the course a couple of weeks ago will get on it as soon as worked out when's good.
I have a distinctly anti-social tent which I can just about fit into. Is it pitches or peoples which are the limiting factor?
Timings are out for all 3 days so you can see when and where the race passes

There is a pub about ten minutes from the site, although the site owner has stated that there is likely to be a bar on site that weekend. He will also be having a large screen available, televising the stage.
There is also a pub/restaurant in a nearby village that seems to do nice grub.
The cost of a pitch is £20.25 per night and a deposit is required, he is (unsurprisingly) booking up very quickly, I would get your order in quick ! Contrary to the first post, I can't book for everyone so I will leave it to your good selves to that !!
I would love to join in on this but it clashes with a little hill ride I have booked
