Hi everyone, just hoping to meet some other ultra runners in the south wales area, we seem to be few and far between. Just took part in PCC and hoping to do teh JCC next year.
Hey EH, I am training for the JCC also - how are you going? still planning on completing? I am looking for this year's event thread but can't find one??
I'm Cardiff EH - you'll find me at the Might Contain Nuts series, Cardiff Ultra, Born To Run ultra in Llanelli and various ultras in the South West area!
I did my first Ultra in May this year - Brecon to Sophia Gardens along the Taff Trail (52m); then the JW Ultra (30m) in September. I'm entered into the Giant's Causeway (62m) in May 2014; the Great Glenn Ultra (72m) in July and Tour of Skiddaw (44m) in August. Plus a few marathons along the way too!!
thought I'd say hello! I am training for my first ultra, - the Llanelli born to run. I marshalled it last year and was inspired... but I'm feeling very nervous now!!!
hi Jenf run part of the route last week ,bynea to burry port but the swiss vally part seems to be tbe toughest lol anyway see you there dont worry too much we all fell like that
RS /Jenf what a solid Ultra hardest run ive done, but brilliantly organised by mike and the gang, finished in 7 hrs 46 mins,65 runners started 24 compleated the full distance of 32.75 miles i came in 20th although i took a 2mile detour on the last lap what a ass, that just about killed me,the conditions were horrendous,a couple of miles of foot deep muck, and a few really bad sections of water well over ankle deep ,but thats Ultras ,but saying all that brilliant event, well done Mile and the Gang.

I'm more SE Wales. Woud like to do PCC at some point, although I would prefer to do it in one go rather than 3 marathons in 3 days, like JCC 'Oner'.
