LOOTW - I was the Pirate at Grafham on the weekend. Were you racing too? Hoffmeister introduced himself at the start, a pirate awaiting yellow and black uniform. Gave him a shout as he did the longer distance, i saw him on the run and again once I'd finished the bike.
I managed to finish the very wind sprint distance in 1:25 despite a nasty cold. How did you do? How local are you? I'll be back up there for the Grafman Half in June and maybe one of the short distance ones prior to that.
I must have been here quite a while to have bagged one of the plum names. The drawback is that I daren't change it at all for a seasonal variation, because I fear that a newbie will join up and nick it whilst it lies temporarily un-used. How would the computer know?
Anyway, I saw a woman in a yellow& black swimming cap at the pool this morning, and was just about to go YAAAAR, when I realised that it was just a boring hat from some swim she'd done. ooops.
Official Swim Off? Lake Bala...Be there or be dry.

go to 15:55 and you can see the back of I think OC
well it certainly wasn't me as that person was actually running!!
Although there is another Pirate at 16:06 which might have been me as they're walking
Don't know if this is the best place to post this, but does anyone know of a company called "micabyte"
They produce an android app called "Pirates & Traders"
The retro version even down to the symbol used seems to be the same as the "new" symbol used on the t-shirts
Digging into the software I find the phrase
"To be a "True Pirate" you must complete an Ironman"
Sounds to much like one of ours!
defintley seems like one of ours
Who was the Pirate at Grafham Duathlon on Sunday?

Hi I am doing the Grafman on 8th June also, might even wear my Pirate kit
i am in Brentwood.
i was using the sprint on Sunday to test an injury to my calf after 6 weeks of no running. It held out ok,
Great name "Last out of the water". I hereby challenge you on the ownership of that title. I have documented evidence...
Lol me too blisters last out of the water but not last home!
hmmh... better change my name to lootwalh
fancy a 3 way swim off to see which one of us is sh*ttest out of the water?
How much of a head start will you two give me...
Oh the irony - someone calling himself 'Blisters' on a running forum complaining that someone else's name might not be unique to themselves...
LOL ChDave!
