This local race, run around the national nature reserve that is Ashtead Common, is always fun (apart from that time with the massed hornet attack on the runners) and is 'Britain's Greenest Race.' It was voted into the top 10 best trail races in the UK in 2013. It has filled up early in the last few years. This year it's on 7 September (partly due to avoiding another popular local race, the Bacchus, which is on 14 September).
Anyone interested...?

Yes!
Is there a reason you have raised the minimum age to 17?? Toby has waited 2 years to get to 14 and now he may need to be disappointed.....can you let me know if he is allowed to run it or not??? thanks, Alison x
I haven't knowingly increased the minimum age. However, the usual rule is that the runner has to be 15 on the day of the race... (UK Athletics rules).
I have amended the entry page to be 15 years on race day.
"Runners have previously commented that it was hillier than they had expected"
Just how hilly is the course? I live in Banstead so used to the hills but I am needing a 10k in prep for a HM so don't want to tire myself out
It Is undulating rather than hilly, with one small noticeable uphill at 9km that usually takes people by surprise. If you are training for a half marathon, then this shouldn't tax you too much!
The on-line registration system had a fault in it, which stopped registration temporarily. It is now open again.
The Fun Run is full - no entries on the day.
Online entry for the 10k is now closed. A limited number of places can be reserved by emailing rob@trionium.com, for £25 cash on the day. (Email with full name, gender, age on race day, shirt size, any medical stuff, club).
The race is now full... no more places can be reserved - sorry! Please come back next year!
Well, that was nice!
It was great, thanks. I received an email from you saying the results are up but when I click on the link I only get the 2013 results, even after refreshing the browser. Can you help?
Ignore that - as I soon as I submitted this they popped up as if by magic!

I probably have most of you in one direction or the other at about the 3/7km point, but as always, no guarantees and sorry to those I've missed.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments and ratings. The race next year should be on Sunday 20 September... See you there!
Try it on a different web browser Michelle, they've been there for a while now
