Me on the right 247 and the view on the way back in! Ben Nevis! only photos to be found! thought you'd get a chuckle before you all race tomorrow! good luck all!
Lochaber looks like a suffer-fest. Which reminds me, I almost thought about doing the Snowdon mara once. Now, I dream of half marathon completion. Must book that physio.
Did a sh!t load of biking today, to top up from yesterday's. It seems that biking and swimbling aren't affected by a ham problem.
Anyway. I'm totally pissed off that I can't be with you. If anyone who posted on the previous page list goes sub 3 I'll chip a fiver into their charity fund if they have one. (Seeing as I can’t buy you a beer). But you'd better be bloody worth it. I’m Lancastrian, and I don’t part from my money easily.I see that one or two of you are cheaters, and should be sub 3 fredders, but I’ll allow the disadvantage of grey hair to sway my opinion.
Ant Poacher Martin H PMJ Abbers CC2 Speedy ……***no pressure then*** Lorenzo Minni Marrows, you've not declared a prediction. But on your other matter, just put the safety pins thought the nips and pretend it's 1978.
All the best to the VLM crew. Looks like it's going to be sunny, but hopefully not too hot. Getting up early to grab the TV remote before the kids start watching their usual Sunday morning drivel... This should be amazing!
Gul - Snap re the tracking, although my five year old would watch a goldfish race! Heading out soon for a 12k run. By the time I get back the women's race will be starting!
Just a quick one: got to halfway and wasn't on pace and with the recent injury woes decided it wasn't going to benefit anyone by pushing on so dropped out at Tower Bridge. I beat Mo to the finish with the help of a tube.
You were going really well PMJ! you were on 2:49 pace till you stopped! great effort and you'll get that chance again in a few months time! well done on beating Mo, even if it was slightly unorthodox.

That's tough luck Philip, but I'm sure you will bounce back!
Super times for Speedy and Lit. I hope they are soaking up the glory in the sunshine.
A friend of mine ran only his second marathon today and ran 2:50 with a 1:26/1:24 split, he must have overtaken alot of runners with that -ve split.
Mo found out how truly brutal the distance was today, but least he didn't sound too deflated, he will run much quicker than that I am sure. Jonesey's record is still in tact and he looked great on the tv, bet he could still belt out a decent time.

Congratulations to Speedy and Lit on their well deserved sub-3s.
Sensible decision, PMJ.
Will cyber-stalk others later, but had better do my own run soon...
Brilliant time Martin, congratulations.
