Chest infection puts brakes on c25k training

I've just been hit by a massive cold and minor chest infection at the beginning of the third week of my c25k training. I know that I should lay off the running until it passes, but at what level should I return? Repeat week 2 or see whether I can make it through a week 3 workout as scheduled? Or even repeat week 1? All advice gratefully received! Thanks Jo

just try it and see, if you cannot do week 3 then next run do one from week 2 and repeat that weekimage just relax and try it.

^ what Booktrunk says. Don't try and force things.

The worst thing you can do is to try and come back early and try to start back exactly where you left off instead of building back up slowly.

I should know, I've made these mistakes before.

Millsy put it better than I did. image  I just ran a marathon two weeks after I got a chest infection, and the 2nd half wasn't fun image so chill and relax don't rush back, I was a bit stupid imageimage
