had both big toe nails removed about 2 weeks ago. have not ran for about 12 years but would like to get started again. any tips would be appreciated.

Just go running. Lost the odd nail including big nails, just don't kick any stones
I took my very damaged toenails off about 4 week ago- after a ultra race left them hald hanging off- the nail beds healsed up very quickly, and I was running again within 4 days- just go for it!
