morning well raced RFJ, and good long ones LmH, Postie Looks set to be another warm one, was glorious leaving the house this morning. Was hoping for some showers for the garden, but no signs of the ones you had LmH. what - vets league match tonight. Track races are 400,1500 & 5k and I suspect I'll fill in where we are short. If not I'll run at least two non scoring. Might do the LJ too, but not really tested the jumps this season after knee/hamstring issues earlier in the year. Again if we have enough scorers I might do a couple 'for fun'... why - its like a mid-life crisis , but for distance runners last hard - Saturday last rest - 9 days
Plan B as it started to rain soon after I set out on my ride and although I gave it a chance to be a quick shower and pass through it decided to get heavier instead so more of a swim today and hopefully I shall use the bike hours tomorrow.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
No, OH, gardening abandoned without a ball being bowled. Been having a smashing time in HM?
Wheels set in motion for mum's move to a residential placement: they have to assess her to see if they can meet her needs, which will happen on Wednesday.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
LMH, whether it was hammy, ITB, SI joint or PITA, I'm just being ultra cautious.
Swam yesterday OW, Garstang canal for about a mile. Thanks to my towpath spotters. That was instead of Bala Half IM. Today, swam in Lake 32 for 2250m, then biked 26 miles. Called in to the bike shop, but shut Mondays Aaaaargh!
Could be forever, it's strange how we feel we know people sometimes without ever having met them but I've been fortunate in that those I have gone on to meet have been lovely people. It's now warm and dry with localised flooding.
So, today ended up being 10 miles on the bike and 3k in the pool before being pummelled and pressed. Resisted the temptation to take Grace for a run instead of her afternoon walk. Damn taper.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Difficult times Alehouse. Hope it all works out.
Huge hailstones here now interspersed with torrential rain and thunder. May not need to drive to the pool to swim at this rate!
