Cat and Fiddle from Macclesfield is very gradual though - a lot of almost or actual flat in it - I reckon you'd be wasting a lot of energy going forwards rather than gaining altitude though if you were doing it for charity using an iconic climb probably works best.

Harder than an IM, for sure.
The pity is they will only register one person per hill, so you can't do it as a social event where several of you ride the same hill on the same day.
Pops... reading the rules, you can register an Everesting as a group provided you all finish around the same time, and not hours apart.
Serious crazy challenge though!
Mmmm...interesting Why have I just spent 20 mins reading the Everesting thread!!
Cheers Magna didn't know that. A guy in our club has just done it, Beeley in Derbyshire if anyone knows it.
i looked at this with Rosey and using Cat n Fiddle to complete the attempt. we'd be looking at 24 hrs from memory.
So, using the Cat n Fiddle out of Macclesfield this route has a gain of 1626ft = 495.60m
That would require 8,848m / 495.60m = 17.85 reps.

432km is an awful long way in 24 hours...
call that a long way?
nah... this is a long way

that would be the longest ride on there by nearly 2k as well!!
that's three days..... in a oner would be good!
Just read he rules - looks like my charity ride won't qualify as it will be loops of Arthur's seat - think it will be 100 laps to hit the distance.
f@*^ing sadist!
before lunch???
i read this a while back.......... it sounds seriously bonkers, IM would easy in comparison i recon
