Does anyone rate sorbothane double strike for alleviating calf pain and/or shin splints?
and for that matter, did orthotics address any issues you had?

I have used Sorbothane Double Strike for years, they are excellent.
They absorb between 80-90% of the shock that goes though your legs when you strike the ground during a run. They have a 10 year life, hence why they can be a little expensive.
I bought mine from Amazon.
