I think we had the wild weather in the night. But I decided to enjoy the last possible lie-in of the half term and stayed in bed instead of doing the run I had planned!
Gobi - where are you driving the steam train?? Are you doing a tour of the country?
Cycle ride yesterday - just over 30 miles - with my son. Good NW too, with 2 buzzards, 6 alpacas, 1 deer, 15 ducks (crossing the road!) and a sad looking horse!
Walked this morning and got soaked but should be drier conditions for a run this afternoon.
Morning all - 4.5 miles and core work this morning, spin tonight. Walked out into a huge downpour and nearly went back in again, nothing to see out there this morning. Gobi, different way to spend a birthday. 5.30 and Emmy, well done on the double, nice to see you both on Sat in the sunshine.
I think it depends on the run. I was utterly battered after Beachy/Stort. Now its just a slight ache. I'm trying to see if I get some cross training in this evening to help loosen the legs a little.
Morning all - turbo this morning, so everything watch zero as I had the lights off in the garage to try and keep the sweat levels down. Didn't work. Track last night, 5 x 4 mins, 5 x 30 secs, definitely a chill in the air.
What a morning! Absolutely glorious run in the woods and saw not 1 but 2 birds of prey fly right over my head. Absolutely astounding to see such beautiful creatures so close.
10k for me with boyska. 5c out there so a little nippy
NW: 2 amazing birds of prey, 1 heron, flock of swans (are they a flock?), 1 dog not under control, 4 dogs under control.
Morning all - run, spin and swim, 0 degrees, full winter kit, glorious now. 6 mile run and hour and a half swim last night, so tonight off to drink wine as I'm feeling tired. Have a good day all.

Morning all,
Kate - werent you doing Stevenage as well? Lovely to see you on saturday.
Lovely to see 5.30 both days.
Stevenage is a place that i will not be going back to in a hurry Horrid race - very boring.
Gobi - What's a rest day for you?
I had a lie in until 7am this morning but managed 5 miles and a lovely run. A bit windy but a good stretch of the legs. Feel almost back to normal!
Emmy you are a machine.

A NOC for me.... a bit annoyed as i wanted to go longer but ran out of time
Birky - i'm the same as you - i swim to stop myself from drowning
NW: lots of dogs, few birds.
Belated Happy Birthday Gobi
Morning emmy; Another non(ish) swimmer then !
Birky - i'd love to do a triathlon and have looked into swimming lessons but its something that i'd need a lot of time to focus on.
I did a sprint tri a few years ago and was overtaken by children on the swim
emmy: I respect those of all levels and all ages who do Triathlons.
Birky - dont worry.. i took them down on the BIKE
ok, swimming like a brick probably isn't going to help much!
Another long day done and nearly dusted.... I need to step away from the laptop.
evening all
noc for me today, just felt like lying in bed this morning
being back at work is ok, but have been doing tests for most of today which is a bit boring and means I now have loads of marking!

12 miles at 8.xx this morning was a pleasant jog with 3 friends. All done before 0700.
Emmy, kids are the worst, they tend to be naturally good at things so I'm glad you won!
Gobi - That's a good sign of a rest day!
Kate - I made it my personal challenge to take them down
A chill to the air this morning. Definitely getting colder over here. Boyska on the other hand loved it

It sounds a cracking morning down your way. Raining here heavier now, just dropped Mrs B off at her school.
Resting today and tomorrow as it's BallBuster Duathlon on Saturday and need fresh legs!
A Bevy of Swans Emmy!
Drove through the night and climbed AdH on arrival - bloody hell it is cold descending
