P.s are you it's an ultra you've entered? 26(.2) miles is marathon distance.
In that case, the Inov8 ought to be just fine, as it'll fit in the kit that you need. I'd maybe go try one on for size first though, to make sure it's comfortable, and then have a few training runs with it full of the kit that you'll be taking.
It's not Grizedale or Howgills by any chance is it?
If you're prepared to pay £100, then, if you look in the right places for deals, the S-Lab isn't that much more and it's very very comfortable.
It depends what you're thinking though, if it's just a one-off, then most people that I've heard that have the Decathlon Kalenji one seem to like it.
The S Lab is £80 on the decathlon site

this might do the job
+1 for the Salomon S-Lab. £82 online for the 5-L version at the moment, personally I'd get the 12-L as it's light enough to use for short runs and gives you room for a bit more gear.
I've had Raidlight, Ultimate Direction, UltraAspire packs over the years but the S-Lab has relegated them all to the bench. Have used it for everything from a short commute to work to a 200-mile race in the USA.

Also at Chain Reaction Cycles for the same price - both with free delivery
Are trail runs just generally calling themselves ultras now?
he explained that Gideon
another salomon 12l fan, but heard lots of good things about decathlon packs / vests and at £26 also the salomon ones is without a bladder it usually comes with 2 front bottles, but if you want a bladder as well that's another £20-35 depending on which one. Hydropak I think the company is called make the salomon bottles, and bottles for quite a few of the other packs. So can just get the hydrapak bladder itself on amazon as opposed to buying the branded one that adds another £10.
I highly recommend this one!

Very cheap (£30) but good quality and compares favourably to the much more expensive Salomon S-Lab. Comes with a bladder too (which the Salomon one doesn't)
This one serves me fine - very light - http://www.ultramarathonrunningstore.com/UltrAspire-ALPHA-Hydration-Pack-Race-Vest-p/ua050.htm
