I've not run at all since last Sunday's 11 miler (it takes me quite a while to recover from long runs, it seems) but I was out just after 7 today and completed 13.18 miles. Got pretty painful towards the end - even my butt was aching - but it was such a lovely day I could just about ignore it. Sun, daffodils and blossoms starting to come (oh and this being London, various pools of Saturday night vomit and a dead rat.)
Actually came in 1 minute faster than my 2011 half marathon (my only half to date) so I am pretty happy with that. I'm doing that one again in May - perhaps I can shave some time off.
Oh and well done Gemma - that sounds like an extreme feat of mental fortitude.
Afternoon all - 12 miles run and 3K swum. NW 30+ sheep, 2 horses and a squirrel, only 3 OR as the local half marathon was happening today to lure them all away. MC, hope you're feeling better. Cal, lots of Springness here too, dead badgers and squirrels on the road yesterday, so squashed wildlife wherever you go. Yoga next, then some medicianal red wine.
Evening all. I'm back! Strava impolitely reminded me that I've 4 weeks off thanks to 3 bouts of cold continuously and a weeks skiing! Lydden half today puts an end to my slothfulness. My legs now hate me and have gone on strike!

turbo this morning and run this evening
we were forecast snow for this morning, but there wasn't any, thank goodness I hate the cold slippy stuff!
Evening all - track done, 10 miles total 4 x 5 min efforts. PSC, have you got a note for being off games?
Nice efforts.
Achilles was a bit sore so decided not to run today - just did yoga. After two hard days I figure I needed a light day.

Cold and a bit frosty here
Snow is away.

Cycling is going well on the Watt bike now so I may even ride outside on Friday
Have fun

Well done Gemma
I'm healthy again, nearly 1hr 50 on the bike and a jogged parkrun.
