We've had the same neighbours since we moved in here on one side, we don't get on but they are good neighbours in themselves. On the other side, they are an odd couple, I sense the woman is deeply unhappy and she behaves a bit strangely. I sort of want to give her a hug but I don't think anyone would understand.

Thinking about doing a letterpress workshop next weekend. The studio is run by a friend I haven't seen in a while. D and I used to go out for dinner with J&A. Haven't seen them for a while, it will be tough.

We bought a second hand treadmill which we're dead excited about...we tried Murray on it too (cos..you do don't you!) and she coped really well too lol (just for a little minute)

Morning. Enforced rest due to knackered back. Just when I thought the running was going well.
Was sunny and warm this morn, it has clouded over now.
I'm totally cheesed off with myself.
Feeling happier today. Seems like I have a hip flexor strain. So long as I don't turn sideways I'm ok. Looks like I may be running again next week if I'm very good now.
Have signed up for a letterpress workshop this weekend. Looking forward to it. It'll give me a new focus for when it's too miserable to be out.

I slept really well last night, not sure that was quite as good as it sounds as I appear to have slept in an awkward position. Need to take it very easy still.

We have an empty nest at the minute...LMF off in Oz and BGD is in Leeds for the (long) weekend (he's got a gig and they're recording in the studio too) - so it's me, MrGFB and Murray rattling round the big house on our own...a sign of things to come?
Seriously thinking of downsizing...we're going to try and look into that this year...even if BGD doesn't move out for a while, LMF is going to be in Oz for 3 years (...that's if she comes back) and we have a 4 bedroom house....and a big garden to maintain. We think we might just look for a smaller place to rent...dunno - just thinking *out loud*

No snow here. It's been bright and sunny, but windy.
I've got a week off work. I took my Mum to Oxford yesterday for an MRI. We got the time wrong and arrived 4 hours early

We had about 8 - 10 inches of snow!! It fell overnight, causing traffic chaos....and then melted like billyo causing more chaos...it made my boots all squishy

LMF has sent me a snapchat of a spider they caught in their house - it was sat on an apple core....it was as big as the apple core!
I'm afraid I would have had to burn the house down.
Poor spidey was only trying to get one of his 5 a day.

I have a surplus of cheese, curtesy of emptying out Father in Law's fridge as he is still in hospital and not likely to come out in the next week. 2 x 400g of Tesco strong cheddar.

I need more cheese....although I do have a big slice of goats cheese....not sure what to make with it....I normally just cook with goats cheese and not eat it non cooked IYKWIM!!
I haven't had any cheese today. I did have one of those mini Marmite cheeses yesterday. It was yummy.
