Dr Robert - is there a waiting list in case of dropouts? If so can you add my name to list? Thanks, Charles (veteran of one Greensand Marathon, 2014). Tried to register just now and discovered it was full!
I have a place this year which I can no longer use. If I can find someone who wants it are transfers possible still? What would you need me to do? If I can't find anyone at my Club do you have a waiting list?
Commiserations Ghost Rider, these forest runs can be treacherous, what with all the rooty bits, just hope you got home ok - sometimes its best just to stop and blag a lift!
Dr Rob - shame about the swim, thought it must be no lifeguard available, no elfs 'n'safety anywhere so can't let us just paddle about without supervision, I suppose.
Also seems a shame that when 350 enter but only 200+ finish, think if I'd missed the cut-off I might be a bit miffed, but is there anything that can be done?
sorry, not cut off in race, cut off in entries as race full. And then nearly 140 no-shows on the day? or an awful lot of DNFs, which is understandable if unlikely.
John Lovenberry, I'm awarding you a special prize for the Best Video Ever Made of the Leith Hill Half Marathon. It's spine tinglingly-excellent! Terrific music too. It's going in pride of place on the web site. Very nice work John - big pat on the back!
The Leith Hill Half was voted the Best Race in Britain in 2015 - voted by you guys! It's a very rare honour (there are over 3000 races listed on Runner's World for 2015) - and I'm really chuffed.
Thanks to everyone who voted (every rating was at 100%) and to all the marshals and helpers who made this a very special race.

Did it for the first time this year. Loved it & Will be there in 2015.
Returning after running the first one a while back. Can't wait.
For some reason, all the ratings have vanished. Needless to say, it's been well-rated by previous runners. RW - can we have our ratings back please?!
A great run, that is challenging and rewarding. This will be my 5th one. Ive ran it in -2 and + 16 so conditions can vary.
Fewer than 20 places now left.
I believe I'm now signed up with a wife-carrying run to warm-up...
This doesn't look like "gently" undulating course - as tough as the Munro??
Thanks, Charles
Glad we got you in, Charles. Sorry all others, race completely full - come back next year!
If you find someone, get them to let me know who they are as soon as possible!
Sorry, no swimming this year (couldn't get a life-guard).
Have a good race everyone!
Great race today Rob... really enjoyed it despite the brutal last 3 miles... Defo count me in for next year!
Cheers
Runner 110
So glad I was feeling better and able to run today Rob - what a fantastic event. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it - we were lucky with the weather!
Fantastic Event Rob! Really enjoyed my first Leith hill Half
Ghostrider, Commiserations on your horrible injury. Hope you heal well and quickly.
I was marshalling below the Tower and watched you hobble by on your useful stick. I had the usual conflicting reactions:
A) Excellent Style! Trionium Runners Be The Hardest!!
Hmmmm, adrenaline-crazed-casualty making an injury worse - What would I do in his unfortunate situation?
And that's what happens to your brain as you get wrinklier - You start having second thoughts instead of reaching for the nearest stick.
May your shadow never diminish, GR, and may you stay forever young.

I was marshalling at the tower and didn't think anyone missed the cut-off?
I've made a video
