Just sent off a parcel for LMF - I priced it in the local post office and they were going to charge me £48!!! and it would take up to 40 days to get there!! So I drove 2 miles to the local Donegal post office...£14 delivery and it'll take a week to 10 days!! Mental!!
Up bright and early here...so we bought this treadmill and I've hardly used it because I'm too busy in the evenings (we're working late most evening now...so busy in the clinic we've had to add in late evenings and a half day on Saturday) so basically by the time we get home and I've got the dinner cooked I cba to train...so I've bit the bullet and started to get up 45 mins early to get my *run* in...(when I say run...I'm basically starting from scratch and doing the C210K so it's a walk run to get me going)
I'm really happy that I've started...and there is no smugger feeling than getting your training done early lol...long may it last
Today lunch time thoughts, is it a good idea to put you blueberries into the whole in the top of the raspberry. Does this make them nicer? I'm told so , may have to investigate
Bit empty in here. I was away in Dover over the weekend. I'm tired and without a cause. I need to tidy the house, it's a complete mess. s'pose I should do that then, not sit at the pc all day.
Weather is horrid, not raining but cold and windy. Would like some calm and warmth.
Happy April everyone! These forums are very quiet generally these days.
There was near chaos in the CakeBook house this week - we nearly ran out of cheddar. I needed some for my chilli, and Cake had reassured me there was a cheese-mountain. There wasn't. And I wasn't willing to put Wensleydale with cranberries on my dinner.
Happy anniversary Bookie and Cake. Too late for returns now.
I think at times I deserve a medal for putting up with Mr Steady as we have lived together for 25 years (married nearly 14) and were dating for about 18 months before that, so a life sentence of the best sort.
I found out how to alter PC screen so everything is upside down, a great joke at work on the unsuspecting colleague who asked me over to sort a problem out.
Tesco are trying to drive me mad by selling different weights of the same cheese in exactly the same packaging. Last weeks pack was a paltry 340g , this weeks is 420g. I can't cope
I'm on my third vat of tea, but it's OK it's decaf
Today I've been mostly having jelly and ice-cream with Sarah's family for a early birthday. Ironically both jelly and ice cream where the only things not on offer.
I have a apple tree stick in the back garden it was £1 from Lidl reduced to clear because the tab had fallen off and no-one in the shop know what fruit tree it was. Sadly I think it was on the shelf to long been watering it for a month now and no leaf's yet will give it anouther month before losing hope. Will give stick updates.

I could, right now, book an easyjet flight from Bristol to Tenerife, for this saturday, for £64. But I've got other priorities this weekend.
I am still baking cakes
Ey up NorthEnder
(((GFB))) I miss seeing my Mum, and she's only in Bucks.
What happened to the other half of the sandwich Mr. P?
If you're taking orders Caz, can I have some ginger cake please?
One of my patients told me I'm exceptional today. I feel I've let down the mundane collective
I shared it with my friend .

Ginger cake made Bookie.
Yay! Cake!
I've just bought a duvet set from Asda - it's covered in pugs
Bookie a pug covered duvet? Genius, I'm off to Asda
I needed cheering up after the sad demise of Terry Pratchett, I never met him but for some reasons it's really hit me hard.
Pug duvet
The petition to Death to reinstate Sir Terry made me chuckle. Definitely a sad loss.
I'm about to boil the kettle for my second tea of the day.
Morning all - love the pug duvet lol.

Swam 7-8 this morning, I still have goggle marks round my eyes, new goggles must be good but I'm getting some funny looks at work
Today lunch time thoughts, is it a good idea to put you blueberries into the whole in the top of the raspberry. Does this make them nicer? I'm told so , may have to investigate
Well no because then you can only eat as many blueberries as you have raspberries surely?
Hmm perhaps there's an experiment waiting to happen, how many blueberries can you stuff into a raspberry. Lunch time excitement awaits
I bought raspberries yesterday. They didn't make it home.
Oh, and can I say. All hail our great leader
I'm meant to be off work this morning. Somehow I'm in work.
How did the decorator paint his wife? He double Gloucester
Far too quiet in here *clatters pots and pans and blows cow horn*
Wakey wakey!!!
I had apple crumble for pudding (y)

Disaster UB Tis chilli for tea in our house tonight and there's a new unopened packet of cheddar ready and waiting.
In old mundane news I can indeed eat blueberries if I put them in a raspberry first
I have some cheddar with onion in it, tasty, hope it lasts as I neglected it at the back of the fridge and it now at its use by date.
Life is a rollercoaster at the moment.
Isn't cheddar 'best before' rather than use by?
Tis mine and Cake's anniversary today. Three long years. I wonder where I put the receipt...

I don't think cheese lives here anymore...
I like cheese
I need to buy cheese and apples.
I found out how to alter PC screen so everything is upside down, a great joke at work on the unsuspecting colleague who asked me over to sort a problem out.
Evil.
I keep buying the cheep apples in Waitrose, they are not very good, neither is their cheep cheese.
I should just buy more of the expensive stuff and eat less of it.
I am wearing a face mask so can not drink tea. It is almost not worth it I tell you.
