Snap! Very good point but we all know the lines between certifiable and inspirational can be blurred at times when it comes to ultra's William, as most folk who know him will tell you, is actually a totally down to earth guy , who plans all his many challenges meticulously.
Anyone interested in pushing their own boundaries out at whatever level, would learn something form hearing him talk.
will he be visiting cardiff
project 60:60 and project 165 - pretty cool.
Snap, to use your phraseology, all of william's records are certifiable too!
seren nos stay tuned to this thread ,,, William talking in cardiff is being worked on and may happen, we will post here if it does, or keep an eye on the Cardiff run and become website pages too,
Thanks
Seren Nos and readers in WALES. Ultra legend Wlliam Sichel will be at Cardiff Run and Become running store this coming Saturday to talk about ultra running and his epic 3,100 mile race., see link for details Arranged at short notice. William is running the Barry 40 on Sunday!! Please share with your ultra friends http://www.runandbecome.com/event/cardiff-william-sichel
I watched him run the Barry 40 miler on Sunday last.
What was more impressive was a gentlemen of 81 years old break the 30 mile world record, in about 5hours 10 mins
Mr k..Thankyou for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the evening. The "tree" pic will
remain archived
Mokshaeight.. William does fine for his own age ,,but the "gentleman" you refer to is Geoff Oliver who indeed has been re writing the over 80 ultra record books.(having re written some of the over 70 records!) He has set a few in the Self Transcendence 24 hour at Tooting the last two years amongst others , detailed in the link below. Geoff, doesn't blog.tweet or FB etc ,,,just gets on with life quietly and like William, has huge respect amongst those in the ultra world.

Barry track 40 miler had more record breakers in it than the line up of the 2014 100meter world championship finals.
Thanks for the reply Adrian.
