Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend where I could buy a decent running (ie wicking) t shirts (not vests) that come personalised. I would like my name and a photo of either of my children on it as I am running the Glasgow half (aiming to beat my pb 1:32) in October for the charity Families Need Fathers. I'd also like the name of the charity on the back. There must be a company that do this somewhere but I've had a look on the web and they all seem american firms or cotton t shirts which are rubbish (in my opinion) for running in. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks for any help.
Ross

Buy the shirt of your choice.Buy some transfer paper. Iron on your photos / logos etc.
Job done
Or ask a local printing company.
I don't have any affiliation to them, I'm not trying to sell anything but the finished product is brilliant, it is a wicking t shirt with logos front and back and it was less than 20 pounds. The sizing was a bit generous, I am usually a large but a medium fits perfect.
Many thanks for the replies! I had thought about transfers but, in the past I had transferred a picture onto a cotton shirt and it didn't work out well- probably my fault, but I was also concerned that the trasnfer wouldn't stick/grip well to the material of a wicking running shirt. I'll give timetorun a try.
Many thanks again for the replies.

If Rob's link doesn't prove useful - I can assure you that, done carefully, transfer paper works very well on wicking shirts. I 'made' my FLM 2009 shirt and am still using it!
Fruit of the loom have started making wicking tech tees but I have not seen one so can not comment on them, but they are also cheapish on eBay.
Cheers VDOT51, I'll have a look. Thanks!

Other suppliers are available Just remember to set the printer to do it backwards or do it backwards yourself, or test it in advance anyway, I was being brain dead first time and looked great ironed it on, and of course it was backwards. D'oh.
