Welcome to the fifth running of this popular event
Once again it is the first Bank Holiday Weekend in May
Saturday the 30th April and Sunday 1st May with Monday 2nd May being the Bank Holiday
1 Week before IM Mallorca 70.3
2 Weeks before IM Lanza (ideal start to tapir)
3 Weeks before Outlaw Half (make sure you are on track and a great chance to test your nutrition)
10 Weeks before IM UK
11 Weeks before Outlaw
Ages before IM Mallorca
We will once again be running the event on both the Saturday and Sunday
We will have hopefully have got over the problems with the pool on Saturday that we had this year as we are in discussions with certain parties
Its in Macclesfield, Cheshire
There are several hotels nearby and I'm hoping that once again the social side will be as good as the triathlon, camping is also available on a limited first come first served basis

I'm in again and regards to SA and Mrs SA for putting this great event on yet again.
Still struggling with the same Achilles issue but being ever optimistic I'm up for doing the whole thing Saturday and cannot wait to see what SA has in-store for us weather wise
I will support Sunday and Alison my girlfriend should be up to help and meet everyone and she would be happy to do a relay with anyone and do the run part.
Can someone wiser and smarter than me update the list so I don't go breaking anything.
As this is only 1&1/2hrs from home and its an opportunity to meet you all, I would like to do the whole thing on Saturday please, Mrs & Miss Madness may be persuaded to support but I will need to work on that bit.

I'm going to do it on the Sunday this time as it has better weather. I'd like to put a request in early to actually have the option of freewheeling downhill, so if you can sort that SA that'd be grand...

I'm already on them. Sometimes I even do bike/beer/bike/beer/beer/beer/beer/bike/beer sessions.
For anyone undecided, get your name down and come along. It's only a matter of time before Ironman buy it out and it'll cost you £300 to enter Ironman Macclesfield 70.3. Get in whilst it's only 4 quid. The black bin bag included in the entry for carrying your kit between the pool and T2 will last longer than one of those IM backpacks too...
I'll negotiate the weekend pass when I have spare brownie points . . .
I'm entered for Mallorca the following weekend, so still undecided whether to actually race (and take it easy), or just come support / marshall etc.
Either way, I have the OK from the other half to come meet as many people as I can. I'll try to persuade her to come too, but this will be pretty close to her June exams so she'll be wanting to study and be pretty stressy!
