Hi, I'm running the 10k next Sunday in Glasgow and am thinking pre warned is pre armed... Can anyone tell me where the hills are? I know there is St Vincent St, then the up ramp onto the Kingston bridge... But not sure of the rest of the route... Anyone in the know? Thanks in advance!

Hi Carole,
I've only run the half route, but much of it is common - looking at the amp, you've already identified the two main hills - the St. Vincent St. one is the worst one, becuase you're looking right up it on the start line, but it's not that bad, and the run down the other side to the Motorway is fast. The Kingston bridge on-ramp is worse, but just take it slow and it's fine. After that it's fairly flat, the only hill is the "Arc" bridge, which is hardly worth mentioning.
Good luck!
Pollok Park is undulating.
Stephen, that's true but that's for the HM runners. Like Carole I'm doing the 10k and she has it covered. Watch those extra hills if you're in the HM though.
Looks like the high pressure will just about hang on for us - just hope we don't get the early morning fog like wot I can see out my window now
