Sounds good to me chicksta.

Stick with the staying upright RFJ image

You've proved you can do it now Pammie - no excuses next year image

Enjoy the taper emzap.

What:            short easy run or rest
Why:            depends how hamstrings feel when I walk Grace
Last hard:     contemplating coffee and cake without having run
Last rest:      14/10

If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

  • Morning!

Yesterday's lyrics were from the first James Bond theme tune to make number one: Sam Smith with "Writing's on the Wall". I was particularly taken with the line, "I've spent a lifetime running"!

    Lyrics: no

    What: another easy run

    Why: chest still not right.

keep the consistency Pammie: the speed will gradually return.

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Morning!

Last hard: being called in at 4:45 (still on ward)

  • Morning

OH: that was an early start for you!!

Alehouse: Hope the chest starts to ease for you

LMH:Enjoy the coffee and cake todayimage

    What: Physio

Why: Knee problem which has disapeared  but still need a MOTimage

Last hard: not getting up early enough to run before physio

    Lyrics:no

  • Hope you got a chance for a break OH.

Typical that you're better before your appointment Poppy.

Take it easy Wabo, you don't want to set yourself back, you too Alehouse. You were right - I should have got yesterday's lyrics, it's been played a lot on radio 2.

    Enjoy Oliver.

    Any races planned Dustin?

Hamstring is better than yesterday but rather than easing as I walked Grace I could feel it more so much as it pains me I shall be doing nothing again today. I even decided that going for another walk (didn't want to long walk Grace as we're just building her back up after her lameness) was not really a good idea, more I rest sooner I can run - I hope. In other news the length of the half on Sunday is still being questioned, I've emailed the organisers for clarification, I'd rather know if it was short then I can adjust expectations for my next half, the missing 186 yards (if they were missing) would have cost me what, 30 seconds? I'm really not sure.

If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

I won't lmh, I think it's 5 min jog and 2 min walk 3 times or even less

  • Afternoon,

Physio went well she was very nice looked me all over and after various tests it seems the knee was my not the problem it was my not very flexible ankle(achilles one) and my hip and glute so after doing lots of exercises and acupuncture in hip( .She is emailing me the exercises to do for 2 weeks then go back and we should see a difference....so I have to dig out gym ball still in box and find pump....I maybe gone some time.

    Tomorrow I can runimage

    Hey!

I feel entirely out of time on this thing.  6.8 easy miles this morning, beautiful day in Toronto.  Then went on a boat trip and in the space of an hour, warm to baltic!!

Forecast for Sunday.  Max 4, min -1.  JeeZo!  Didn't bring any cold-weather gear.  Will just have to rely on being used to Scotlands weather!

Saw niagra falls yesterday.  Pretty good.  Best from the boat.  The town is as tacky as, dare I say it, Blackpool, but the falls are one of the seven wonders, so that's one ticked off.

    lyrics, nope.

    GO BLUE JAYS!!!!

  • Evening!

    What: just 4k easy

Why: need to do easy at present!

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • ay up

    nowt doing here.

Knee is a bit tight, and no races planned.
Tomorrow I shall disappear from contact as far as w#rk are concerned. "W#rking from home". I am hoping to be going to the local airfield and flying a vintage biplane, although the weather looks a bit marginal. Biggles goggles, silk scarf, sheepskin jacket and a good dose of very fresh air.

In the evening we have a Tri Club "summer" ball, all black tie and sparkly dresses. What should I wear?
