Cake, I hope that stick survives, we have one like that except we knew it was not a fruit tree, it got moved 3 times around the garden before it settled down and grew properly, it has turned out to be a willow tree and growing at great speed due to the soggy nature of our garden.
Cakey took me to the theatre (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - excellent!) and my Mummy got me a tablet computer. I made cake and put lemon curd in it.
I am being adventurous with my food, trying out dishes that previously I would have avoided, not all were pleasant according to my taste buds but some were.
Of course we remember you. (Help, who's Towner again?).
Just popping in to blow away the cobwebs and see if there really is life after death.
I'd never work out if I'd lost a sock or not, I just wear odd socks and hope that everyone thinks I'm trendy and not lazy. Big box of sox, just pick any two. Lucky dip.

Stick sounds interesting. I think we should make it our mascot.
I have no news to post today. Will up date later.
Hello everyone!
I finally had my post-race chai latte today. Only three days late, but it was very nice.
Tomorrow is my burpday
Early happy burpday wishes Bookie.

Willows grow fast. I have a million willows. Need to get back out and start cutting them down and try my hand at hedge laying.
Happy Birthday Bookie. Don't forget to hug your wheelie bin today. It's good luck.
Happy birthday Bookster!
Thank you!

There was also cheese (y).
*breaking news*
The stick has a leaf bud on it.
Yay for Sticky McStikerson, we have leaf off
The stick has more than one bud. I thought it was just a stick. Turns out it's a tree.
I went for a walk tonight to locate the polling station for tomorrow. I got rained on.
*Pops in and puts duster around.*
I have a bin bag full of shredded paper for the recycling bin.
Glad to hear stick is now baby tree.
I have a new kitchen bin, it says it's the same size in litres as the old one but the bin bags don't fit
I talked about wheelie bins with a patient yesterday.
First week of wheelie bin collections this week. The beginning of a new era.
Thought I'd bring the thread into June.
The wheelie bins mentioned previously - got collected for the first time today. Apparently the new vans are too complex for the Brummie workforce.
Evening. I'm hungry. Cheese just hasn't reached the spot that other foods reach.
If I'm not hungry and this gnawing pain is something else then I apologise to all cheeses everywhere.
Everyone knows cheese doesnt fill you up, it is the perfect snack
*drags the thread into July*
Phew! Just in time.
I had cheese on chips on Friday - with fried onions. Twas good
I am being adventurous with my food, trying out dishes that previously I would have avoided, not all were pleasant according to my taste buds but some were.
I have not tried any new cheeses though.
What have you tried Steady? I like experimenting with food.
I have post-race blues/fatigue/twitchiness. I think the only known cure is to enter another race. And possibly supplement this with cheese.
hello
I thought i'd do my annual log-in to check the cheese/bin situation.
No Cheese in my bin!!
Looks at the accumulated dust and spiders webs. Mouldy cheese left out from the last party. Bin overflowing, unkempt and unloved.
Well, seeing as I missed my train, I may as well stay home and tidy this place up a bit.
Sneezes as I start to dust.
Good cleaning little mouse *makes a little mess*
Where is everyone hanging out these days?
I think a lot of people have decamped to Facebook. I had to log in! I've been away that long my computer had forgotten me!
I thought I'd lost a sock, I haven't. *nibbles on cheese by way of celebration*
Of course we remember you. (Help, who's Towner again?).

I find this thread rather mundane.
It is isn't it.
The Secret Santa gift I ordered has arrived. Mr Steady is already curious and it is not for him.
