Whoever deleted it wasn't doing me any favours given what I've been accused of so I hope, whoever you are, if you see any more of the same thing you will be honest enough to say it was you rather than letting me take the flak for something else that had nothing to do with me.
I'm sure it was well-intended but, you know...

It was all very entertaining but ultimately it was a slagging match between two pseudonyms on tinternet so not something that matters, really
Sorry Mutts, but being accused of something I never did actually does matter to me.
Sure you'll get over it.... Bet you work colleagues know all about it.
I read the 'other thread'. Not a clue what it was about, but it was entertaining! Not a clue what this is about either - spats arise on every forum.
Let it go. (Which reminds me, I still haven't watched 'Frozen').
It better be good after all this...
I told myself I would watch it this Xmas just gone, too. It didn't happen. I reckon it'll be truly disappointing & result in an earworm & the desire to have 2 hours of my life back, but I'll still give it a go.
I believe you Screams.
I think the thread itself answered it's own question. Many of the chums I made from the old days left because of that level of fighting (that's not accusing you of anything by the way). We find it easier to communicate in closed communities via alternative forms of social media now, where we fight much more politely.
It's a shame, because it means new chums are not made and the fun times that we had in Clubhouse are gone. C'est la vie I guess. I miss the old days but the new days are good too.
I do find it very amusing when some accuse others of reporting threads and getting things deleted, or worse still banned. Firstly, I think it shows extreme paranoia and arrogance. I don't think half the reporting of threads and conspiracy witch hunts of which people are accused happen and these people are arrogant in thinking that they are the centre of the alleged thread reporter's world. Secondly, I suspect most of it is done by RW HQ who are trying to abide by their own online rules.
I'm quite prepared to let it go - but I still think I deserve an apology.
I don't come out with this accusatory shit about people so I don't see why anyone else needs to either.
Thanks Mouse.
And FWIW I agree with you completely. RW are perfectly capable of moderating without letting anyone know they have done it and without anyone actually reporting a thread. I know because I've seen it happen quite a few times.
🙂
Lol
Come on, man up and apologise. you know you were out of order.
I flushed several times but it just wont go away.
I'm waiting, Ric.
Dum dee dum dee doh
If we were children in a school playground I could understand this...
Just get over it everyone. Shit happens, move forward.
Sorry about the state of the toilet brush.
Bookie - yes, shit happens. banter happens. sometimes said banter gets out of order.
All acceptable after a fashion.
But when people actively make shit up it goes beyond the pale.
And I have seen Ric go into absolute meltdown over a comment of mine so I know full well he wouldn't like this kind of crap pulled on himself.
Scream: Whilst your right in principle... This is one of the reasons why lots are complaining there aren't many left on here. with fbook and various other forums, people just move on rather than put up with a lot of crap.
You may be in the right, but refusing to drop it just pushes another person away from the forum... Take the high ground, give him a virtual smack on the backside and say you are just wrong in this case, and move on.
I know it's a lot easier said than done. Especially online, but if you were in a pub and annoyed each other, you'd get over it... Just be the strong one that moves on first
Totally get where you are coming from, Booktrunk, but I think an apology clears the air.
I have done it myself before and it really isn't so difficult.
It just takes an admission that while you might not have intended to be a dick at the time that's how it came across. Admittedly this is slightly different but the same principles apply.
Did anyone read the post asking why I still had my head up KK's arse?
No apologies for that then? I guess because I wasn't joining in the mass hatchet job on KK the enquiry was justified.
It's a public forum. No one is special. Clubhouse is for opinions bar running. The community is in the heads of those who suffer the delusion of having built an empire inhabited by like minded posters.
I find the place interesting though.
I've a blog starting soon (many subjects covered) so when I've got the framework sorted, I'll let you all know. Then you can comment as you like, and I can tell you to 'f' off as I wish.
🙂
OK, I have no problem with apologising unreservedly for that.
So - your turn.
Or a little yellow idol to the north of Kathmandu ?
You set 'em up, and I'll knock them in
