  I did this 2015 well organised and the city is great. I took my family with me and they rely enjoyed.

  Thinking about doing this one too. Looking for a spring marathon next year overseas and this looks like the best option.

  Just over 5 weeks to go! Hope the training is going well. Any set-backs /injuries/ encouragements???
  Dresden went quite well, back in October (4:11). My 4:06 in Seville four weeks ago was a good outing for me. Plan to do a 20' run tomorrow, then be a bit cautious with only two weeks to go until a half marathon. Will have to see how that goes before planning the final three weeks before Vienna. One more long run, and a 2 wk taper?

  Had a great race. Although managed to run 27.3 miles keeping out of trouble. Would definitely recommend it for those turned down by London.

  A bit cool and windy at the start but improved later on. My Garmin recorded 26.54 so not quite the difference that you found, Alastair. I would also recommend Vienna for a spring marathon; they take it very seriously, and seem to get most things right.
