Anyone remember me? I *think* I might be on my way back to running after a break of at least 2 years.
My health issues are slowly resolving themselves and I am getting my energy back. I still have to be really careful not to overdo things but the good news is that at least I CAN do things now.
I have yet to summon up the courage to give running a go, but I have been for a couple of swims and a very short bike ride. I can't believe how much fitness and strength I have lost but I know that it will come back if I keep at it.
So... did I miss anything?

hi! so good to see you are getting stronger all the time, good to have you back on here
I remember you SuperCaz. You don't really know me though as I lurked more than I posted. I too have been away from the forum for a while, though still running (apart from last October to March). I'm delighted to hear you're getting your health sorted & can look forward with some excitement even if it might have a bit of trepidation alongside.
As for missing anything ... Well, apparently not everyone who runs marathons covers the same route as the majority! But, nah, the good news is it's much the same old familiar & comforting stuff (maybe someone else will list a shed load of new items). So, Welcome Back SuperCaz.
Welcome back
Welcome back Supercaz
I too have seen your many posts in the past and was aware that you weren't well (I'm not a stalker, honest!!). Glad to hear you're on the mend and wish you all the best. Didn't you swim the channel? Anyway, take your time and come back strong!
Welcome back SuperCaz, glad to hear you're on the mend.
Have you missed much, well there's been a few epic spats, flouncing and bannings a whole bunch of people have either run things, not run things or got injured training for things, so not much different from 'same as it ever was'. Fewer people posting these days though.
hi Caz glad you're on the mend and back to training - I hope you do whatever makes you happy
Hi Caz. Great to "see" you again. Pretty quiet around here these days, compared to a few years back, but on a positive note, I occasionally get some work done now.
A fair number of the old crew have jumped ship to Fetcheveryone, if you want to catch up with them.
So glad you are getting better.
hi.. I am still here
Welcome back Caz. Good luck with your return to fitness - take it steady.
Millsy, that was me. I will be dishing numbers out at The Ox events this weekend too.
Peter, yes I did swim the Channel, but that feels like a lifetime ago even though it was less than 3 years.
I've been for one more swim this week, in the Nene this time. I didn't realise how much I missed the social aspect of sport as well as the DOMS and endorphins
Hello SC. I just wandered onto the forums to see what was what.
