What a shame Maths. I never carry a puncture repair kit which is silly really since I have one that attaches to my bike. I suppose it's only a matter of time before it's needed. Glad you enjoyed your run though.
How annoying Tracey.
I had planned to go out on my bike last night, forgetting that my mum was coming. Will try again tonight. I did manage to persuade her to download the couch to 5K app though!
I never carry a repair kit - two inner tubes and tyre levers - hubby can fix it when I get home he's my mechanic and a hot one he is too.
Going to spend this weekend sorting out the training schedule for the wee sprint and the run with Mrs D in October. Body pump tomorrow - hopefully not as stiff or sore as last week!
I carry a repair kit, 2 inner tubes, tyre levers, multi tool and pair of latex gloves to stop me getting filthy hands and a mini pump. Only had to use it once and then an old bloke stopped and helped get the tyre back on for me. Like you Buttercup I have a husband who is Mr practical and mechanical.
Failed to get out on the bike tonight, will see if I can redeem myself with a ride tomorrow. Sunday is unity ride with the club which is always a social thing.
1200 mt swim on Friday morning with Horse, 200 warm up then 24 lengths crawl without pull boy, doing Ulverston sprint tri at end of the month and its 500mts pool swim so had to submit a swim time, managed it in 15 mins so happy with that.
Went for a run this morning with Horse, we intended doing 5 miles but he got us lost down the paths so finished up doing 6.3 miles, really enjoyed it and the company but it was bloody hot so pace was 10:22 min/m and felt good.
Maths, 4hrs mountain biking certainly makes up for missing your long run.

*Waves hello to Big Sister Daffs* I expect you'll need a lie down after reading about all this training!

Mallowpuff - did you manage to get up for park and bike ride?
7 mile ride down the hill to parkrun, suffered through parkrun but logged a 5k pb according to Strava, and then another 30 miles or so on the bike
ah, my husband is not practical at all, I do all that kind of stuff - and I am not that good!
my legs didn't want to, but I forced them through spinning class, some gym work, swimming and a little run this evening....
Mallowpuff , did you notice that I got you your pirate log next to your name.
You owe me a pint mate.
maybe 4 hours mountain biking makes up for not doing my long run today? Bloody hard work in the heat but had a great day.

Keep forgetting our little run Small one! Must remember. Good week had, no punctures (bad times Maths).
113 at the weekend. Will see how that goes
Nice work Razor
P.s. Who is coming to play at Outlaw?
Might be there supporting.
It doesnt feel 'proper' without you there Razor!
Mallowpuff I like it - he he!!!
Well done Razor and Maths! I'm loving the sunshine but running does seem like much more of a chore in this heat.
Did parkrun on Saturday in 30:49. Not a pb, but happy with it as it was hot and my legs are achy after the last couple of weeks of racing.
The kids are back in school today so can start getting back into a training routine. I just need to get on and book a race for motivation.
Is Outlaw at the end of July? I might come and watch.
