Hello everyone. I'm doing the 100k with my wife. Really not looking forward to it. I've got insertional Achilles tendonitis at the moment and my physio has told me not to run until RTTS if I want to finish it. I'm just riding my bike now.
I've done 2 marathons this year and did a 29 mile run across the fields a few weeks ago so hoping I'll have the fitness to get through. I've not run for 1 week now but not convinced my Achilles will any better anytime soon.
Does anyone know if they close the facilities at the finish line and if so what time? I think we and the Mrs will finish around 22:45-23:00 and I know we will want a cheeky drink from the bar to celebrate (As I believe there is one)

Hello. I'm selling my entry at half price (two days with camping).
Please get in touch should you be interested.
I'm pulling out. 100KM straight through. Anyone want to buy my place? Needs to be done by Friday

Don't know if the bar will be open - if you email them and ask they respond pretty promptly.
Thanks Becca
Quick question - are walking poles allowed for the event? the latter stages it will be a real benefit but can't find anything on the website.
Thanks

RR - currently in denial somewhat. I'm hoping that Comrades was good as a training run and about 6 weeks in between will have been enough recovery.
Cheshercat - no idea, sorry.
